Infinity
This series manifest my sustained and transitory intimacies, experiencing beyond the restraints of body and its place in the world with the nude as an expression of the original and pristine Being, and as a vehicle for revealing hidden truths and emphasizing its bond to the natural world.
The lens can reveal more than the eye sees, the delicate skin textures, the evanescent forms expressing new ways of understanding the body and the hidden meanings behind gestures. Working with dancers and their body consciousness enables to find something worth saying and worth developing, capturing their fleetingness and slowness, exploring the aspects that our retina can’t record.
The nude explores the infinite essence of being. Stripped of societal masks and adornments, the human body becomes a canvas for expressing the original and pristine state of existence. This state, connected deeply with nature, transcends time and place, touching on the eternal. The body, in its purest form, becomes a symbol of the infinite cycle of life, birth, and rebirth.
Worlds echoing my intimate space but also pieces of movements, of the fall that lasts for an instant, an eternity asleep, stripped, then gone.
Each element serves to highlight the infinite nature of existence, the boundless stories contained within each image, and the eternal cycles of nature. Photography, in its essence, is a celebration of the infinite, capturing the ephemeral and making it eternal. A circular process, returning to nature with a deliberate slowness, all of which is akin to meditation and contemplation.
